(…)The docking location had to be changed because the ship can’t sail all the way down to Oltenita, due to super low water. So Operations sent out an info email to all guests with the name and address of the new docking location and they ONLY included my contact details. (…) And here’s the part that really got me: Virginia herself suggested that also they include her name and phone number in the message. Once the message went out, my phone literally exploded, within half an hour I was getting bombarded with calls, emails, and messages from guests, even those who had transfers booked! (…) But Virginia was also getting tons of messages, and she replied to every single one of them just like me + she even took care of all the extra transfer requests I sent to her in the meantime.❤️
If she would not offered (volunteered) to have her contact info included, I’d probably still be answering messages right now.
She knew exactly that doing this would only bring her extra work and stress, but she still stepped up because she also knew I’d be on the bus with guests and at the castle this evening.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen someone act with such selflessness, empathy, proactivity, and true teamwork.
I just felt I had to share this with you, because she really deserves this bit of attention and appreciation!!!
